Reverend Donna Spencer Collins affectionately known in the Haverhill community as MamaD, was hired by a Search Committee of First Congregational  United Church of Christ of

Haverhill in May  2014.

 

Her mission began on June 4, 2014.  She move to Haverhill and began going out into thie community to meet people. She had office hours at a local cafe, She led a Spritual Study group at Dunkin Donuts, She joined the Chamber of Commerce.  With everyone she met relationships developed. She has such a profound love of God and a diesire for people to connect with and bond with God so that they will be inspired to let go of hurts habits and hang ups and explore what life can be like actively engaging with God on purpose. 

 

Pastor Donna, our Leadership Circle and our growing faith community, are Discovering what it means to be spiritual and not religious.  They are exploring what happens when Love, gratitude and justice are core values.  They are connecting the dots and making meaning of  belonging,  ourselves as God sees us, Hidden in Christ.  We are reimagining what Church is suppose to be, open to listening to God's still speaking voice.  If you do not know what to believe or how to believe you belong on this journey with us.
